At St. Michael Catholic School, we combine strong academic standards with a faith-filled, student-centered approach. Guided by both the Seattle Archdiocese and Washington State Standards, our curriculum ensures students are well-prepared for success.
Through a combination of small group and whole group instruction (UDL) in Reading and Math, we meet each child where they are. Whether they need extra support, are right on track, or are ready to be challenged. Every student is known, supported, and encouraged to grow to their fullest potential.
This targeted approach allows our teachers to meet students where they are, providing the right level of support and challenge.
Students work at their own instructional level:
On Grade Level – reinforcing core skills and deepening understanding.
Below Grade Level – receiving additional support to bridge gaps and build confidence.
Above Grade Level – engaging in enrichment activities to further their learning.
This flexible, student-centered approach ensures that every child is seen, known, and supported in their individual academic journey.
For more information on what your child will learn at each grade level, please refer to the Grade-Specific Curriculum Guides listed in the sidebar of this page.
St. Michael school is accredited by the WCEA (Western Catholic Education Association).
