2024-2025 School Year
Dear St. Michael Catholic School Family,
It’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up the 2024-2025 school year. What a year it has been! From the very start, we embraced the words of St. Madeleine Sophie: “Be humble, be simple, and bring joy to others.” Little did we know just how much those words would shape us this year.
Our students, our saints in training, have grown so much. Not just in academics (though we’ve certainly soared there too!), but in kindness, faith, and character. Every hallway, classroom, and playground moment has been filled with small but powerful examples of humility, simplicity, and joy in action.
We've celebrated big wins—academic growth, spiritual milestones, and new traditions—and we've also walked thru challenges together, always leaning on our faith and each other. This is what makes our St. Michael family so special.
I want to personally thank each of you—our parents, teachers, staff, and parish community for your partnership, your prayers, and your endless support. We couldn’t do this without you.
As we head into summer, my prayer is that you all find time to rest, enjoy your families, and feel proud of the beautiful community we’ve built together. Our Eagles are ready to keep soaring, because of the strong foundation you've helped create.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for being part of our St. Michael story.
God bless,
Rosa L. Rivera- Principal- St. Michael Catholic School
Letter to our Future Saints
Dear St. Michael Eagles,
What a year we have had! As your principal, I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you. Together, we’ve grown in so many ways—not just in our learning, but in how we live our faith, treat one another, and share joy with the world.
This year, we embraced the beautiful challenge of “being humble, being simple, and bringing joy to others,” just as St. Madeleine Sophie inspired us to do. And you did it! Whether it was through small acts of kindness, trying your best in class, helping a friend, or simply showing up with a smile—you lived out our mission.
One of the most incredible moments we shared this year was living history together. We prayed, waited, and watched as the Church elected a new pope. You filled the hallways with cheers, rang the bells in joy, and reminded us all what it means to be part of something bigger than ourselves. Witnessing that moment with you was something I will never forget.
Eagles, you are truly saints in training. You have soared higher this year, not just with grades and sports, but in heart, faith, and community. I am so proud of how you’ve grown into the leaders and followers of Christ that God has called you to be.
As we head into summer, I hope you rest, play, and remember: once an Eagle, always an Eagle. Keep being the light in your families, neighborhoods, and everywhere God places you.
I can’t wait to see what next year brings. Until then, fly high, stay joyful, and always remember—you are loved.
God bless,
Principal Rivera
